Influenza A. \u201cTutta una montatura.\u201d Sotto accusa l\u2019Oms<\/h2>\n

Si parlava solo dell\u2019influenza H1N1. Chiunque aveva paura di uscire da casa e al primo starnuto della persona che si trovava accanto si entrava nel panico. Dopo mesi dalla tanto temuta influenza si ritorna a parlare di essa.
\nLe accuse arrivano dal \u201cBritish Medical Journal\u201d e degli esperti del \u201cBureau of Investigative Journalism\u201d inglese e vedono colpevole l\u2019Organizzazione mondiale della sanit\u00e0. Secondo un articolo pubblicato dalla rivista medica, che ha come attuale editor, Fiona Godlee, gli scienziati che lavoravano per l\u2019Oms e che hanno avuto nel 2004 il compito di stilare le linee guida per i governi in caso di pandemie, lavoravano da tempo con le case farmaceutiche che hanno in seguito pubblicizzato. I ricercatori coinvolti hanno confermato i fatti ma hanno anche sottolineato di non averli mai nascosti. Ma ci\u00f2 che ha sbalordito \u00e8 che il conflitto di interessi non \u00e8 stato precisato nel rapporto, ricorda il Guardian.
\nSecondo le stime, le aziende farmaceutiche avrebbero incassato circa 7 miliardi di dollari dalle vendite dei medicinali contro l\u2019influenza A, mentre un miliardo di sterline \u00e8 la quantit\u00e0 spesa solo dal governo britannico.
\nAlcuni paesi, come la Francia e la Gran Bretagna, adesso si ritrovano con scorte di vaccino non utilizzate di questi prodotti e con contratti da rivedere con le aziende farmaceutiche, mentre la Polonia \u00e8 stato l\u2019unico paese a non cedere all\u2019allarmismo.
\nIl Comitato per la salute dell\u2019Assemblea parlamentare del Consiglio d\u2019Europa ha presentato in un documento che verr\u00e0 dibattuto dall\u2019Assemblea alla fine di giugno, prove schiaccianti che mostrano come vi sia stato un\u2019allarmismo inutile e uno spreco di denaro pubblico.
\nL\u2019Oms ha dichiarato che il periodo di punta dell\u2019influenza H1N1 \u00e8 passato, ma bisogna tenerla ancora sotto controllo fino a quando non saranno disponibili le informazioni sulla stagione invernale di influenza nell\u2019emisfero sud.
\nIn modo particolare viene criticato il fatto che n\u00e8 l\u2019Oms n\u00e8 le agenzie dell\u2019Unione Europee sono state pronte a dare ai parlamentari le informazioni che avrebbero potuto fugare i dubbi sul conflitto di interesse di alcuni esperti che collaborano con l\u2019Oms e altre istituzione ma allo stesso tempo anche con le industrie farmaceutiche.<\/p>\n
